With a Class 5 license, you are permitted to operate the following types of vehicles:

4. Pass the SAAQ Exams

  • Sharing the road – Develop the skills to drive safely alongside other road users, including cyclists, pedestrians, and other vehicles.
  • The dangers of alcohol and drugs – Learn how impaired driving affects your ability to react and make decisions, and the importance of staying sober behind the wheel.

Phase 4

Enhancing Skills for Safe and Responsible Driving

  • The effects of fatigue on driving – Learn how tiredness impacts reaction time, decision-making, and overall safety on the road.
  • Eco-driving – Discover techniques for driving that are not only safe and economical but also environmentally friendly, helping reduce fuel consumption and emissions.

You must have held your learner’s license for at least 10 months before you can schedule your theoretical driving test (Class 5) at Unity Driving School.

Theoretical training can be completed either with a trainer in class or continued online at Unity Driving School. However, for a complete understanding of the material, we recommend practicing through self-training and exercises from the modules covered in class.
